Hi, I'm Cylver!
I'm a Eugene based, lifestyle & portrait photographer.
My love for photography goes way back to when I was a little kid. My parents used to always give me disposable cameras & let me run wild. I'm not sure how many of these cameras I went through, but I can recall the recurring trips to Walgreens to get film developed and pick up a fresh Kodak. To this day I have a box full of hundreds of prints, all images that I captured as a little girl on my first cameras.
This love for photos grew as I got older... I was mentored into the craft by my grandfather, who is a seasoned photographer. After several high school photography classes, a handful of photoshoots working alongside him & a few seasons of working at a professional portrait studio, Feather & Fern was born.
These offerings from the depths of my soul, are my devotions to pure Earth magic. One of my deepest loves is capturing peoples true essence through photos. Sharing these moments that are humanness, in all of its raw, messy, beautiful, unfiltered, forms.. is such an honor. Lets run around in the woods. Put on your favorite outfit and jump into the creek. Dance to the birdsong during sunrise at your favorite viewpoint. Run down a nostalgic street. Cozy up with your lover at home. Gather those you love and play in a meadow. Show off your most special creations and passion projects. Whatever it is that makes you feel alive, whatever it is that is alive for you right now; love, change, rights of passage, leaps of faith, family, connection or new life, I'd love to capture it.
When I'm not behind the lens you can probably find me...

The magic I hope to cultivate in my photos is seeing peoples true essence shine through.
